Absolute Batman #22 Retells Harley Quinn's Origin (Again) with Snyder and Dell'Edera

Another Harley Quinn origin story? Absolute Batman #22 is dropping soon, promising exactly that. DC Comics is diving deep into Harley's past, once again, alongside the latest developments for Gotham's Robins and a looming defeat for the Caped Crusader.
Writer Scott Snyder and artist Werther Dell Edera helm this new chapter. The synopsis teases Harley's mysterious connection to "Ark M" and how the Robins "fledge from hatchlings to birds of prey." If that sounds like another round of trauma-fueled character development, you're probably right. What else would you expect from a billionaire who dresses like a bat?
Preview pages hint at a young Harley grappling with "paranoid musings about ghosts and mallets." Clearly, the path to becoming a homicidal psychiatrist is paved with unsettling childhood visions. And as for Batman facing "ultimate defeat"? We've seen this song and dance before. Expect him back in fighting shape by the next issue, maybe two.

Catzye Take
Another Harley Quinn origin always sparks debate among fans. It will be interesting to see how Scott Snyder and Werther Dell Edera approach her past, especially in the context of Ark M. This could offer fresh insight or simply add another layer to an already complex canon.
