Alien: Earth Season 2 Unleashes New Stars, Promises Deeper Dive into Corporate Horror

Aliens are coming back to Earth, literally! Filming for the second season of FX and Hulu's Alien: Earth is officially underway in London, bringing exciting news for fans of Noah Hawley's prequel series. Production is kicking off at Pinewood Studios, and a stellar trio of new cast members are joining the fray alongside Peter Dinklage.
Tracey Ullman (Mrs. America), Sam Spruell (A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms), and Jerome Flynn (Game of Thrones) are the latest additions, set to star alongside Peter Dinklage and returning lead Sydney Chandler. This expands an already impressive international ensemble that first brought this terrifying chapter to life.
Showrunner Noah Hawley confirms much of Season 2 is already written. While he'll be busy with other projects and won't direct this season, he remains deeply involved. Hawley promises "more world-building" and a significant expansion on the first season's promise. He also teased Peter Dinklage's "major role," suggesting it will be a worthy addition to the franchise's iconic character roster.
“The title Alien: Earth isn't just for show – the stakes are clearly rising.”
Catzye Take
This show is an interesting take on the Alien universe, moving beyond just creature features to explore the societal horror of corporate power. Fans of the films will want to watch how Hawley expands the lore while staying true to the franchise's terrifying roots. What's particularly exciting is the potential for Dinklage's 'major role' to bring a fresh, iconic presence to this new chapter.
