Big Bang Theory's Stuart Bloom Jumps into Multiverse Mayhem This Summer

Who knew Stuart Bloom, The Big Bang Theory's lovable comic shop owner, had a multiverse Armageddon in him? His new HBO Max spinoff, "Stuart Fails to Save the Universe," is set to premiere July 23rd, throwing the character into an unexpected, reality-bending quest.
Yes, you read that right. Stuart, played by Kevin Sussman, accidentally breaks a device built by Sheldon and Leonard, tearing reality itself and unleashing a multiverse-spanning disaster. Now, it's up to this unlikely hero and his equally quirky crew to set things right.
He'll have help from girlfriend Denise (Lauren Lapkus), geologist pal Bert (Brian Posehn), and quantum physicist Barry Kripke (John Ross Bowie). Even Wil Wheaton returns to the TBBT universe for this wild ride. Early buzz is strong, with Wheaton, who's been involved since day one, calling it "brilliant" and "wickedly funny."
“The Big Bang Theory's Stuart Bloom is about to face down a multiverse Armageddon. Yes, you read that right.”
Catzye Take
This is a wild departure from traditional sitcom territory, leaning heavily into genre tropes Catzye readers will recognize. It's fascinating to see a character like Stuart Bloom placed at the center of a multiverse-threatening event. Fans looking for a surprising, self-aware sci-fi comedy might want to give this a look.
