Blue Exorcist Manga Returns July 3, Final Arc Prep Underway
The wait is over! Kazue Katō's Blue Exorcist manga will resume serialization on July 3 in Shueisha's Jump SQ. magazine. This comes after a brief hiatus that began in May.
Katō Sensei revealed she needed the break to recover from exhaustion and, critically, to prepare for the series' upcoming final arc. Fans have followed Rin Okumura's demonic adventures for over 14 years. A short break to ensure a strong finish for this beloved shonen saga is absolutely welcome.
The news arrives hot on the heels of the recent Blue Exorcist -Shimane Illuminati Saga- anime adaptation, which wrapped up its run earlier this year. With 31 compiled volumes and multiple anime seasons under its belt, the manga is now gearing up for its epic conclusion.
