Creator Alice Oseman, who also pens the beloved graphic novel series, previously shared her vision for this pivotal arc. She aims for it to be "a beautiful and emotional send-off," exploring what makes love survive as Nick (Kit Connor) prepares for university and Charlie (Joe Locke) finds new independence.
