Homelander's Final Humiliation: Antony Starr's Dog Gets the Last Word

Antony Starr is done with Homelander. Like, really done. The actor, infamous for embodying The Boys' terrifyingly sadistic supe, recently shared the ultimate sign-off: he turned a prop head of his character into a chew toy for his own dog, Maxine. This isn't just a funny anecdote; it's a full-circle moment for fans of the Prime Video series.
Remember Billy Butcher's bulldog, Terror, and its notorious interactions with a Homelander doll? Starr is taking that running gag to a whole new, much more aggressive level. Photos show Maxine gleefully demolishing the prop head. It’s a fittingly humiliating end for the character, and likely a cathartic release for Starr after portraying one of fiction's most reviled villains.
Starr also shared glimpses of other gruesome Homelander props from the final season, including a head ripped open from the brutal finale fight. While those showcase the incredible practical effects, the image of Maxine tearing into Homelander's face is the true victory lap.

Catzye Take
This is the kind of post-series catharsis we love to see from actors. It’s a fun, meta callback to The Boys' own dark humor and a perfect send-off for a truly iconic villain. Fans should definitely rewatch the series now for all those subtle hints!
