Hot Toys Celebrates Aliens 40th with Stunning Ellen Ripley Figure

Get ready for a serious bug hunt: Hot Toys is bringing back Ellen Ripley with a stunning 1/6th scale collectible figure, celebrating the 40th anniversary of James Cameron's sci-fi action masterpiece, Aliens. This isn't just another figure; it's a meticulously crafted tribute to pop culture's most iconic female action hero, arriving in 2027.
The attention to detail is intense. The figure boasts a newly developed head sculpt, capturing Sigourney Weaver's unmistakable likeness, complete with rolling eyeballs and a sculpted curly hairstyle. For an even more premium touch, the Artisan Edition swaps the sculpted hair for wool implants, aiming for ultimate realism. Ripley also features new seamless silicone arms, allowing fans to faithfully recreate her sleeveless, battle-ready look.
Her arsenal is fully loaded for any Xenomorph encounter. Expect her signature M41A Pulse Rifle, an M240 Incinerator Unit with a flamethrower effect, M40 HEDP grenades, plus all the necessary gear: a harness, bandolier, and ammo bag. The Deluxe Version elevates the display with a detailed Ovomorph egg and a tendril-themed base that connects to a Xenomorph remains diorama, letting collectors recreate the terrifying atmosphere of the Queen's chamber. Pre-orders aren't live yet, but Ripley will arrive on Sideshow Collectibles.
“The Artisan Edition gives the Ellen Ripley Aliens head sculpt more life by swapping out the sculpted hair for wool implants.”
