Kōhei Kadowaki's Feature Debut "We Are Aliens" Lands September 25

We Are Aliens, Kōhei Kadowaki's highly anticipated directorial debut feature film, lands in Japanese theaters on September 25. This isn't just another sci-fi anime; it marks a significant step for an animator known for his work on massive hits like Mob Psycho 100 and Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero.
The film, distributed by Toho Next and produced by Nothing New, promises a "cosmic buddy story." Four ordinary high school students in a quiet town suddenly encounter aliens, getting swept into an interstellar conflict. It's a classic setup with potential for big heart and wild action.
Kadowaki is joined by a powerhouse team. Kensuke Ushio, celebrated for his scores in A Silent Voice and Chainsaw Man, handles the music, ensuring an unforgettable auditory experience. Popular band Ryokuōshoku Shakai provides the theme song, "Unidentified." With such talent at the helm, We Are Aliens looks set to be a standout release this fall.
