LEGO Finally Delivers Official Pokémon Minifigures
LEGO just dropped a bombshell: official Pokémon minifigures are finally here! After years of fans clamoring for them, the "Iconic Trainer Moments Poké Ball set" is set to debut LEGO's first-ever minifigures of beloved Pokémon and trainers. This marks a significant shift for LEGO's Pokémon line, moving away from its previous brick-built creature designs.
The massive 2,386-piece set is a sophisticated Poké Ball diorama. It opens up to reveal two classic Kanto region scenes. The upper half recreates Professor Oak's lab, complete with starter choices. Below, a battle scene unfolds with a Picnicker. The set includes minifigures for Professor Oak, the legendary trainer Red, and, crucially, Pikachu and Eevee.
This isn't a cheap thrill, though. The set is up for pre-order at $299, with a long wait until its scheduled shipping in October 2026. This is clearly aimed at adult collectors ready for a premium, nostalgia-driven build.
