Magical Buffs Anime Debuts First Promo, Cast at AX2026
Anime Expo 2026 just served up an early reveal: the first promo and additional cast for Zatsuyou Fuyo Jutsushi ga Jibun no Saikyou ni Kizuku made. Let's call it Magical Buffs. This TV anime adaptation of Haka Tokura and Shin Arakawa's manga is set for a January 2027 premiere on Tokyo MX, MBS, and BS11.
The Starry Cube booth at AX2026 dropped the details. Fans of the ever-popular 'secretly overpowered support caster' trope have another series on the horizon. Voice acting veterans Akeno Watanabe (known from Vigilante: Boku no Hero Academia Illegals) takes on Camilla, while Masaaki Mizunaka (of Steel Ball Run fame) voices Kronos. It's an early look, but it definitely builds anticipation for next year's fantasy lineup.
