Masters of the Universe: Tales from Eternia
Masters of the Universe: Tales from Eternia
Mattel just dropped a full 20-episode animated reboot, "Masters of the Universe: Tales from Eternia," exclusively on YouTube. This isn't a minor revival; it’s a direct-to-consumer gambit to hook a new generation on He-Man and Skeletor’s endless conflict. It's a bold move for the classic 80s franchise, sidestepping traditional broadcasters entirely.
Writer/director Matthew Brown confirmed the series as a "re-boot" of the classic show. Mike Roberts, an executive producer with credits like "BoJack Horseman," showruns the series alongside Snipple Animation. A new voice cast, including Aidan Reimer as He-Man and Jonah Hundert as Skeletor, steps into these iconic roles. Episode three, "Trojan Faker," already sees Skeletor deploying a robot He-Man clone. This commitment is serious: Mattel’s Nick Karamanos revealed a "multiyear MOTU roadmap," signaling a significant investment in keeping Eternia alive and relevant.
