Murciélago Manga's Brutal World Heads to TV Anime in 2027

Kana Yoshimura's brutal Murciélago manga is finally getting a TV anime! NBCUniversal Entertainment Japan announced the adaptation at Anime Expo 2026, targeting a 2027 premiere. Fans have been waiting for this ultra-violent, queer-laced series to hit the screen.
Takashi Naoya (Kekkon Yubiwa Monogatari) is Chief Director and Series Composer. Matsuo Asami (Übel Blatt assistant director) directs, with Kiyoshi Tateishi (Kinsou no Vermeil) handling character designs. A teaser visual and PV dropped, offering a first bloody look.
