Ouweleen made the comments at the Annecy International Animation Film Festival. He explained that "My Adventures with Superman" began development before Gunn and Safran took the reins of DC's cinematic and television universe. While they approved the ongoing production, the ultimate decision for new seasons now rests with the new DC leadership. "We're letting them kind of drive DC. It's their job now, right?
