Phantom Thieves Infiltrate Call of Duty: Mobile for Shocking Crossover

Nobody saw this coming. Persona 5 Royal, the stylish JRPG phenomenon, is invading Call of Duty: Mobile. Get ready for a truly unexpected crossover event kicking off Season 6, aptly titled "Take Your Heart."
Atlus's beloved Phantom Thieves are bringing their unique flair to the tactical mobile shooter. Players can expect an array of Persona 5 Royal characters and themed items to drop into the game. But the biggest shake-up comes with a new twist on the Plunder game mode.
Specific areas on the Isolated map will transform into "domains," marked by instantly recognizable red spheres for Persona fans. Enter, and your HUD will dramatically shift to P5R visuals. Within these domains, Operators must battle waves of NPC enemies — familiar Shadows from Persona 5 Royal — to unlock treasure chests filled with cash and P5R-themed masks. Expect intense firefights as rival squads also attempt to seize the loot.

Catzye Take
This is one of the most surprising crossovers we've seen in a while! Pairing Persona's iconic style and narrative with Call of Duty's gritty combat is a bold move. Fans will definitely want to see how these two disparate worlds truly mesh beyond just character skins. What's interesting is the long lead time before its July 2026 release. Why announce so far out?
