Pixar Unleashes Gatto: Cat Mafia Saga with Ruffalo, Fishburne

Pixar just dropped the first official look at Gatto, and it's a wild ride. Forget what you think you know about Pixar; this is The Godfather, but with cats. The new teaser trailer, logo, and poster confirm the internet buzz: Gatto's art style is truly unique and gorgeous, a refreshing departure. Mark Ruffalo stars as the voice of Nero, our scrappy black cat protagonist. Legendary Laurence Fishburne joins him as Rocco, the ruthless feline mob boss. The story sets Nero in a canal-ridden, superstitious Venice, questioning his choices while indebted to Rocco. He's forced into an unexpected friendship that might just give him purpose. This ambitious original film comes from Enrico Casarosa and Andrea Warren, the acclaimed director and producer team behind the Oscar-nominated Luca. Gatto is slated for an exclusive theatrical release on March 5, 2027. It’s a long wait, but early visuals promise something special.
