Rom the Spaceknight Blasts into Skybound's Energon Universe via Surprise Blind Bag

Well, this is huge. Rom the Spaceknight is officially joining Skybound's Energon Universe. The reveal came via surprise comic books tucked inside M.A.S.K. #1 blind bags, shaking up the comic world. Rom now stands alongside Transformers, G.I. Joe, Void Rivals, and M.A.S.K. itself in this ambitious new shared continuity.
For those unfamiliar, Rom began as a Parker Brothers action figure, gaining legendary status through his Marvel Comics run by Bill Mantlo and Sal Buscema. He’s a poet from Galador, transformed into a Spaceknight to battle the shapeshifting Dire Wraiths across the cosmos – a truly unique character with a rich, if convoluted, history. After a stint with IDW Publishing, he’s found a new home.
Robert Kirkman, the visionary behind The Walking Dead and architect of Skybound's burgeoning shared universe, is at the helm. He's writing the new Rom #1, teaming up with Lorenzo De Felici – the duo who also launched Void Rivals. This marks a significant expansion for the Energon Universe, proving Skybound isn't afraid to pull out the big guns.
