Rumiko Takahashi's 'Mao' Anime Unleashes Star-Studded Second Cour Cast

Legendary mangaka Rumiko Takahashi's Mao anime is gearing up for its second cour with a star-studded cast expansion. Fans of the Inuyasha and Ranma 1/2 creator can celebrate iconic voices joining the supernatural adventure. Rie Kugimiya, famous for roles like Gintama's Kagura and Toradora!'s Taiga, steps in as Natsuno. Takuya Satou (Yuukoku no Moriarty) joins as Hakubi, and Katsuyuki Konishi (Kimetsu no Yaiba) as Daigo. Tasuku Kaito (Blue Lock) and Shino Shimoji also add to the ensemble. A new key visual and the opening theme by the band Hakubi, also titled "Mao," have also dropped. With these fresh talents, the series, which premiered on NHK G in April, promises a deeper dive into its mystic world.
