Second Cutest Girl Light Novel Concludes as Anime Looms

The popular romantic comedy light novel series, "Class de 2-banme ni Kawaii Onnanoko to Tomodachi ni Natta" (I Became Friends with the Second Cutest Girl in the Class.), is wrapping up. Author Takata and illustrator Azuri Hyuuga's creation will conclude with its tenth volume, set to release on July 1. This comes even as an anime adaptation has been officially announced, leaving fans to wonder about the timing. Kadokawa's Sneaker Bunko imprint published the series, which began online in November 2020. A manga adaptation by Kazutomo Ichitaka is also ongoing.
