Starscream, Prowl, Insecticons Land as Studio Series 86 Target Exclusives for Transformers Movie 40th

Transformers fans, get ready! Hasbro is pulling out all the stops for THE TRANSFORMERS: THE MOVIE's 40th anniversary with three highly-anticipated Studio Series 86 figures.
Starscream, Prowl, and a three-pack of Insecticons are hitting pre-order shelves now. These are Target exclusives, part of their ongoing Summer Geek Out event.
The conniving Decepticon second-in-command, Starscream, finally gets his much-demanded Studio Series 86 debut. This 6.75-inch figure perfectly captures his movie look, transforming from robot to jet with null ray accessories.
“Perhaps most exciting is the Insecticons three-pack, complete with glow-in-the-dark Energon cubes – a fantastic touch for collectors.”

Autobot military strategist Prowl joins the fray too. At 5 inches, he converts into his iconic police car mode, complete with siren bar and blaster. Fans have been clamoring for these definitive movie versions.
Perhaps most exciting is the Insecticons three-pack. Bombshell, Shrapnel, and Kickback, each 5.5 inches, transform into their respective insect forms. The set even includes glow-in-the-dark Energon cubes – a fantastic touch for collectors.
These figures represent some of the most requested additions to the Studio Series 86 line, celebrating four decades of "More Than Meets the Eye" big-screen action. Expect them to ship later this year.
Catzye Take
This is a big win for G1 fans, especially those who collect the Studio Series 86 line for its movie accuracy. The Target exclusivity might be a bit of a scramble, but these iconic characters are worth hunting down. It's great to see Hasbro truly leaning into the 40th anniversary!
