But fear not, fans won't have to wait nearly that long for new content. Season 2 of TNT's The Librarians: The Next Chapter hits screens much sooner, on August 2nd. Ahead of the premiere, star Olivia Morris shared a curious behind-the-scenes look that has everyone scratching their heads. "Why are we all wearing gloves? Why is Dominic Monaghan on a table??? And why do we look annoyed???" she teased on social media.

This spin-off continues the legacy of The Librarians, which focused on a secret organization protecting magical artifacts. The Next Chapter introduces Vikram Chamberlain (Callum McGowan), a Librarian from 1847 who accidentally time-travels to the present. He finds himself stuck, having inadvertently unleashed magic across the continent from his old castle in Belgrade, Serbia. Vikram and a new team – including a history savant, a scientific genius, and a skilled Guardian – have just six months to contain the chaos.

Familiar faces Lindy Booth (Cassandra Cillian) and Christian Kane (Jacob Stone) from the original series will return. Dominic Monaghan, a significant new addition to the Season 2 cast, makes Morris's cryptic questions even more intriguing.
