Zombie Romance RPG Stupid Never Dies Drops Wild New Trailer, Sets Fall 2026 Release

Stupid Never Dies isn't just a quirky title; it's a horror action RPG where a zombie falls for a frozen human girl. This week, indie developer GPTRACK50 Inc. dropped a fresh trailer, giving us a closer look at the game's combat mechanics and its bizarrely charming cast.
The premise? Post-apocalyptic world, humanity's on the ropes, and monsters run wild. Our hero, Davy, is a zombie. He finds Julia, a human girl frozen solid, and it's love at first sight. A "freak snack-cident" grants him powers, sending him on a quest with the eccentric Dr. Frank to revive Julia and take back the world.
Fans will have to wait, though. Stupid Never Dies is slated for a Fall 2026 release. It's a long way off, but this premise is certainly memorable.
“A zombie falls for a frozen human girl, gets powers from a "freak snack-cident," and plans to ask her out.”
Catzye Take
This game looks like it's leaning heavily into some classic anime tropes: the underdog hero with a strange power-up, a bizarre romantic quest, and an eccentric ally. It's a long wait until Fall 2026, but the premise alone has us intrigued. We'll be keeping an eye on this unique indie title.
