Sam Alexander, the fan-favorite Nova, is finally flying back into action. Marvel Comics just announced Nova: Return Of The Rings #1, a new one-shot hitting shelves this October.
This is a major return for the cosmic hero. Writer Josh Trujillo and artist Rafael Loureiro are bringing Sam Alexander face-to-face with the infamous Ten Rings of Power. These powerful artifacts, deemed too dangerous for Earth, have broken containment and now target Sam's sentient supercomputer, Worldmind, as part of a galactic domination scheme. Trujillo promises a high-stakes adventure where Sam draws on both his superhero allies and his family roots.
The timing is significant too. This special lands during Hispanic & Latin American Heritage Month, a fitting spotlight for Sam. A bonus story by Juan Ponce and Andy Pereira will also delve into how Sam balances his epic superhero life with his family responsibilities.
