Riichirō Inagaki
6The Care · 96稲垣 理一郎
Born 1976
The writer of Eyeshield 21 and Dr. Stone, who builds shōnen stories around strategy and knowledge.
6Name sums to 96 and reduces to 6 — The Care, where the reference files an obligation.
Career
Riichirō Inagaki was born in Tokyo in 1976. He wrote Eyeshield 21 (2002–2009) for Weekly Shōnen Jump, drawn by Yūsuke Murata, about a timid boy who becomes a star of American football.
The work
His second major series, Dr. Stone (2017–2022), drawn by Boichi, turned the rebuilding of science into an adventure. He also writes Trillion Game, drawn by Ryōichi Ikegami, about two young men who set out to make a trillion dollars.
The style
Inagaki loves strategy and explanation. His heroes win by planning, knowledge and teamwork, and he makes complex information exciting by tying it to clear goals and comic characters.
Why he matters
His work shows how shōnen manga can make thinking as thrilling as fighting.
The name by its numbers
Counted letter by letter this name comes to 96 — 6 once reduced. The weight sits in “Riichirō”, which carries 62 on its own and reduces to 8.
The 6 governs care, community, and the weight of duty. The reference files it as an obligation. It is a lens rather than a verdict, but it is a consistent one: the 6's pull toward responsibility, care, and the people involved is the pressure under this entry.
Split the name again and the vowels give a Heart's Desire of 8 (power) against a Personality of 7 (inquiry) in the consonants — power underneath, inquiry on the surface. The gap between them is where the subject is most interesting.
人格 core is 20, a 2, 総格 total is 44, an 8 and born is 1976, a 5 — none of which lands on the 6 the title gives. That disagreement is worth more than an agreement would be: it marks the distance between how a name travels and how it was written.
The Care asks one thing of everything on it: name the people this was answerable to. The 6 smothers. The same instinct that protects a readership produces the paternalism several of these entries document. The other entries that reduce to 6 are collected on The Care.
